98: Musta taide, 1991. 1st Edition. No Binding. Sandemar - a series of photos taken from a sand extraction site in Dalarö, Sweden. Tuija Lindström consciously played with image history with a masculine interest in magnificent nature and made ordinary sand look like rugged mountain ranges and fabulous pyramids. The romantic haze, neat passepartout and smallness of the original image is the opposite of the size and sharpness of the digital copies.
